International Art Show
From December 1 through 4, Miami Beach, Florida, will host the 10th edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, the most prestigious art show in the Americas. More than 260 leading galleries from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa will take part, showcasing works by more than 2,000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.
 Charlotte is one of two artists chosen as a 2011 Regional Finalist representing the southeast in the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series with Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation at Art Basel in Miami in December. After more than twenty six hundred entries nationally to the nine select regional cities, the jurying was narrowed down to twenty finalists in each city. From those finalists two artists were chosen to exhibit and compete in Miami's Basel, the second to the largest art event in the world, next to Switzerland.
